Ankur D. Bordoloi is a CNRS Junior Professor at the I.R.P.H.E. institute, Marseille specializing in experimental fluid mechanics, biological soft matter, and porous media. He holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering & Mechanics from the University of Minnesota (USA) and has completed postdoctoral works from the University of California, Berkeley, Los Alamos National Laboratory, University of Lausanne, and Delft University of Technology, where he was awarded a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship. Previously, his work focused on large-scale transport phenomena in fluid mechanics, including interfacial dynamics, particle–turbulence interactions, and shock waves. His current research is centered on microscale biological processes relevant to health and the environment, particularly the dynamics of cell and bacterial transport through heterogeneous microenvironments.
